Physical Medicine Department

• This department is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and prevention of illness, injuries, and disorders by use of physical means such as exercises, electrical agents, short tissue manipulation (manual therapy) rather than the use of drugs. It complements other therapies and treatments.
• Arti Hospital & Trauma Centre physical medicine department comprises physiotherapy and occupational therapy. The unit is managed by qualified professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Occupational therapy is the treatment that focuses on helping people achieve independence in all areas of their lives it can offer kids in all areas positive, fun activities to improve their cognitive, physical, and motor skills and enhance their esteem and sense of accomplishment e.g. hand rehabilitation, general functional rehabilitation, splinting, or fabrication of assistive aids, activities of daily living, etc.
