The Department of General Surgery provides surgical interventions that focus on the endocrine system, gastrointestinal tract, liver, colon, and other major parts of the human body. Some of the common procedures include an appendix, gallbladder removals, colonoscopies, thyroidectomies, hernia, and bariatric surgeries.
